“For an EP preoccupied with dwindling possibilities, King Pine’s latest begins with a bracing contradiction. The future may be running out. The music refuses to act like it. That refusal is the record’s sharpest source of hope.” - Mark Druery

“Why can’t “Still Be Friends” become a dance floor hit? It certainly has a nicely produced and mesmeric beat that sets things along. However, that’s pieced together with a soulful, clever poem about finding a connection, thrashing it and being drawn back in years later. It’s a deeply philosophical number meant for a slow dance at a beach bar.” - Eduard Banulescu
